The Help a Mother and Newborn Initiative (HMNI) invites you to join our team of passionate volunteers for our upcoming fundraising event. With your expertise and commitment, we can make a significant impact on maternal and newborn health in Liberia.

Event Overview: Every year, we organize an activity to raise funds for our ongoing programs and initiatives. Last year, we successfully hosted a dinner event at the prestigious Royal Grand Hotel, which garnered overwhelming support from the community. This year, we are eager to switch gears and offer an unforgettable experience by hosting a social beach event that brings together families, individuals, and children for a day of fun, entertainment, and impact.

Theme:  BACK 2 THE BEACH

Objective: To raise awareness about the challenges faced by mothers, adolescents, and newborns in communities across Liberia while generating substantial funds to support our programs.

Areas of Expertise Needed:

1. Event Marketing and Promotion:
   • Help develop and execute marketing strategies to maximize event visibility.
   • Utilize social media, digital platforms, and local networks to promote the event.
   • Collaborate with the team to create captivating content and engage potential attendees.
2. Ticket and shirt Sales:
   • Play a key role in selling event tickets and ensuring a strong turnout.
   • Engage potential attendees, answer inquiries, and provide ticket and shirts purchasing assistance.
   • Assist in managing ticket sales both online and offline.
3. Event Management:
   • Contribute to the planning and execution of event logistics.
   • Coordinate setup, decoration, registration, and guest services.
   • Ensure the event runs smoothly and attendees have an exceptional experience.
4. Partnership Development:
   • Identify and engage potential event partners and sponsors.
   • Build and nurture relationships with local businesses and organizations.
   • Collaborate with the team to secure sponsorships and enhance event offerings.

Application Process:

2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a brief interview to discuss your skills and interests. (Deadline: September 5, 2023)
3. Orientation: Attend an orientation session to learn more about HMNI, our mission, and the event details. (Deadline: September 9, 2023)
4. Volunteer Assignments: Based on your skills and preferences, we will assign you to one of the volunteer roles. (Deadline: September 9, 2023)
