We’re thrilled to share the outcomes of our recent Back to the Beach Fiesta and Fundraiser, a day filled with joy, community, and a shared commitment to reducing maternal and newborn deaths in Liberia.

Financial Overview: Balancing Act for a Greater Cause

We’re excited to announce that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we generated a revenue of over $8,000! However, transparency is key, and we want to be open about the financial dynamics of the event. Given the nature of the festivities, we invested significantly to ensure its success, with expenses totalling over $6,000. This leaves us with a net of a little over $1,500.

While the financial outcome is not what we expected, we are still very much happy  about the connections we forged and the awareness we raised for our cause.

Community Engagement: Building Bonds and Awareness

Beyond the numbers, the true triumph of the event was the gathering of families and friends on the beach, all united in our mission. The beach reverberated with laughter, music, and the shared understanding that together, we can make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns in Liberia.

The event served as a powerful platform to create awareness about the alarming rates of maternal and newborn deaths in Liberia. Through engaging activities and heartfelt connections, we spread the message far and wide.
